GameSpot today shed light on the upcoming GameSpot-created Games and Music Experience (G.A.M.E.). Slated to take place December 2-4 at San Francisco's Moscone Center (site of the Game Developers Conference held earlier this year), the event will let gamers try out upcoming games from a list of publishers that currently includes Electronic Arts, 2K Sports, 2K Games, Activision, Capcom, Midway, Namco, and CDV Software Entertainment.

　　In addition to games, a number of Atlantic Records recording artists will perform live during G.A.M.E.

　　"As so many of our artists are featured on video game soundtracks, and the worlds of games and music continue to converge, this live event is an ideal venue to get in front of an incredibly exciting fan base," Kevin Weaver, senior vice president of Atlantic Records, said in a statement.

　　Best Buy joins G.A.M.E. as the event's retail partner.

　　Centric Events Group will be producing this and upcoming G.A.M.E. events, and Clear Channel Entertainment joins the G.A.M.E. team, bringing media and promotional support. Additional information can be found at the event's Web site
