The Game Critics Award committee has announced the winners of the Best of E3 show awards. The committee is made up of 40 judges from top game publications and Web sites (including GameSpot), as well as mainstream media. The judges considered the 65 games and systems that were nominated in 16 categories, and when the votes were counted, the Nintendo GameCube was awarded Best of Show, while LucasArts' online role-playing game Star Wars Galaxies was runner-up for Best of Show.
