TOKYO - The games that will be released simultaneously with Game Boy Color are Wario Land 2 and Tetris DX. Aside from the two games, Nintendo is working on a color version of Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening.
The GBC version of Zelda doesn't yet have a release date.
Third parties are also preparing to release GBC-compatible games. StarFish will release Super Blackbass Pocket 3 on November 27 (3980 yen). When you play this game on a GBC, you can fish for albino fish. Sanrio will release Sanrio Time Net on November 6 (3980 yen). This RPG features lots of Sanrio characters including Hello Kitty.
Of course, another great GBC feature is that you can play old Game Boy games in color. There are 4- to 10-color set palettes, just like Super Game Boy, but some of games look way better on GBC than Super Game Boy.
Game Boy Color will be released in Japan on October 21(8900 yen).
