Forza Horizon 5 players will have some quality cars waiting for them when they get their hands on the new game, provided this isn't their first experience with Forza. Playground Games has announced loyalty rewards for returning players, with as many as seven cars set to be handed out to series veterans.
You'll receive one specific car for each of the previous games that you've played on the same account that you use to play Horizon 5. This includes all four previous Horizon games and the three most recent Forza Motorsport entries--sadly, there's nothing to be had for those who've been with the series since Forza Motorsport debuted in 2005 on the original Xbox.

Now Playing: Forza Horizon 5 Preview
In a nice touch, each of these cars will be the one that adorned the cover of its respective game. That means you'll get Forza Horizon 1's 2013 Dodge SRT Viper GTS, the 2017 Ford GT from Forza Motorsport 6, and Horizon 4's 2018 McLaren Senna, among others. You can check out the full list of unlocks below.
It's unclear if you'll need to have played these games by a certain date in order to unlock them, but if you're thinking about just booting them up on Xbox Game Pass, that definitely won't work. Despite being first-party games, they have largely been phased out of both Game Pass (and the Xbox Store, if you wanted to purchase them). This seems to happen after about four years of availability, with 2017's Forza Motorsport 7 being removed from the store and Game Pass in September. You can, however, still boot up Forza Horizon 4 on Game Pass if you so wish.
Fortunately, the wait for the newest entry won't be much longer. It launches on November 9 (and will require a lot of storage), although buying either the Premium edition or the Premium edition DLC will get you access on November 5, as you can read about in our Forza Horizon 5 unlock time guide. That DLC is compatible with the Game Pass version of the game, meaning subscribers can pay $45 to get early access to Horizon 5, its DLC expansions, and more without having to purchase the base game itself.
