Treasure has thrown the veils off Ikaruga, the follow-up to its classic top-down shooter Radiant Silvergun. The game will be released on the Naomi arcade board, and it will use a simple control scheme. The arcade cabinet will have a joystick for directional control and two buttons controlling the primary and secondary weapons. Judging from the early information released, the gameplay system will be very similar to that of Radiant Silvergun. A console conversion hasn't been announced at this time, but the arcade version will be released in Japanese arcades this fall. Further information will be available shortly.
