The first screenshots and approximate specifications of the prototype Game Boy Advance have appeared in the Japanese press. The local publication Famitsu has posted the first shots of the handheld platform itself, which is shown to the left, courtesy of The GIA. As reported previously, the GBA will indeed have two large shoulder buttons, and it will also feature two face buttons along with the directional pad and the start and select buttons. Additionally, the platform will connect with cell phones and will allow users to play against other GBA owners. The approximate specifications of the GBA - appearing in the Japanese press - are shown below. The final specs will be revealed today at the Space World show in Japan.
