At its ongoing Gamers Day, Infogrames announced the first details on its upcoming Terminator game. Developed by Pilot Wings creators Paradigm Entertainment, the game is a third-person action title. It's story takes place in the year 2029, at a time when the supercomputer Sky Net has just invented the humanoid, flesh-covered Terminators. Essentially, the game is set up as a prequel to the original Terminator film.
In the single-player game, players assume the role of several different members of John Connor's human army and take part in a variety of skirmishes against Terminators. A multiplayer battle mode, which would let players control the Terminators themselves, was also discussed. But it hasn't been confirmed at this time. Currently, Infogrames has only confirmed the game for the PlayStation 2, but additional console versions are likely.
