Next month, EA Sports will release F1 2000, a Formula 1 racing simulation. The game follows the actual F1 circuit, offering every race run for the year 2000. As a true-to-life simulation of the F1 races, the game will offer a robust physics engine and the ability to tinker with and tune the cars, adjusting things such as suspension, gear ratio, brake balance, and ride height. EA Sports says that there will be a realistic damage model that will affect cars' performances. Other features include accurate modeling of all teams and cars, stats tracking for the race season, official F1 flag rules, and sound recorded from real F1 cars.
The PC version of the title will have a virtual cockpit with working steering wheel and instruments. It will also include LAN and Internet play for up to eight players. The game will also release on the PlayStation next month.
