Fishtank Interactive has announced the completion of Etherlords, its 3D turn-based strategy game inspired by trading-card games. The game is set in a fantasy world where players lead one of four magical races in a battle for dominance. The game combines resource management, spell-based combat, and trading-card-style game mechanics. It includes more than 300 spells and more than 160 detailed characters and monsters, each with personalized animation. In addition to the single-player mode, the game supports up to eight players in multiplayer mode.
Etherlords was developed by Russian game studio Nival Interactive and is scheduled for release on November 13 for an approximate retail price of $39.99. For more information, take a look at our previous coverage of the game.
