Destiny's Armsday events, which provide weapon-specific bounties that increase reputation with the gunsmith, are arriving one week before The Taken King expansion early with next week's patch.

　　Armsday events let players complete challenges attached to specific weapons, and completing them will unlock Foundry orders. By making these orders, players will guarantee the arrival of a decent weapon the week following. This is part of a major expansion, which will revamp a number of systems in Destiny, but Bungie is administering this particular change early, The Taken King executive producer Mark Noseworthy said in a tweet today.
