EA Sports UFC will launch in spring 2014 for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, the publisher announced today as part of its Electronic Entertainment Expo briefing.
The game runs on EA's new next-generation EA Sports Ignite engine and boasts a new MMAI system that will tailor fighter behavior based on real-life tendencies.
Explaining the market opportunity for EA Sports UFC, league president Dana White said, "Fighting is in our DNA; we get it and we like it."
EA Sports UFC also boasts a nonlinear real damage system that aims to be "true to life," not seen in past games.
