Apr 20, 2025 1:33 AM

[UPDATE 11:13 AM EST] Servers have returned to normal operation, though wait times for support services may be slower than usual, EA reports on Twitter.

EA games & services are available. Support wait times may still be impacted. For 1x1 assistance, please contact us: https://t.co/5ruQb6pQ7D

  The original story is below.

EA has warned gamers that its servers are "experiencing an outage," with games, services, and support all affected. A list of affected games/services was not provided, however.

GameSpot was able to log into a Star Wars Battlefront match on Xbox One just minutes ago with no issue. As is often the case with these kinds of server issues, your mileage may vary.

EA is currently experiencing an outage. EA games, services & support may be impacted. We’re working to resolve as fast as possible.

We'll keep an eye on this story and update this post as new information becomes available.

Gamers will no doubt recall the widespread outages on Christmas Day 2014, when both PlayStation Network and Xbox Live were taken down by DDoS attacks. We'll be monitoring all online networks tomorrow and will give you updates if things go south.
