LOS ANGELES--Late last month several retailers listed a $30 Oblivion 5th Anniversary Edition, claiming it would include a number of pack-ins, including the critically adored Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, downloadable content, and more. Now, Bethesda has confirmed that rumor, today officially announcing the bundle. It's the 5th Anniversary of Oblivion, and Bethesda is celebrating with a new special edition.
The $30 Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion 5th Anniversary Edition will ship in North America on July 12 and will include everything the retailer listings heralded.
These items include a copy of Oblivion, the Knights of the Nine and Shivering Isles DLC, a "making of" documentary, and a full-color Oblivion world map. The Anniversary Edition will be available for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
Additionally, Bethesda has confirmed that the 5th Anniversary Edition will include a mail-in rebate offer, good for $10 off the publisher's newest Elder Scrolls game, Skyrim, which is due out 11/11/11. Lastly, all pack-in material will come bundled inside a steelbook casing, emblazoned with Daedric symbols.
