This may be old news for those keeping track of the progress of the Dota 2 Champions League but for those who missed the first volley of news, the Grand Finals between Speed Gaming and Alliance will be pushed to 13th January 2014. The reason? Geography. Tobi-Wan explained on his Facebook page that had the competition taken place at its original date, Speed Gaming would have been playing with a 320ping while Alliance would have had 120 ping. Additionally, the change of timing was also to allow Alliance to have their holiday and play in the D2L.
