Destiny 2 is getting an update next week to fix a number of problems, and while we don't know everything it might cover just yet, Bungie has provided a preview of the patch notes. One thing is clear: you won't be annihilating raid bosses with Witherhoard anymore.

　　Witherhoard is the new Exotic grenade launcher that was released with the new Season of Arrivals. It infects enemies you hit with it with blight, which damages them over time. Players quickly found that if they fired a bunch of Witherhoard grenades at various raid bosses, they could annihilate them in record time.
