Sega of America has released the Dreamcast 4X VMU in the US. The utility, which holds four times the memory of the regular Dreamcast VMU, was originally scheduled for release alongside Phantasy Star Online in January. A handful of Dreamcast games, including Carrier, Dynamite Cop, F1 World Grand Prix, and Rayman 2, are not compatible with the new 4X VMU. The unit retails for US$39.99.
