Konami has confirmed that it will release Castlevania Chronicles: Akumajo Dracula for the North American Sony PlayStation. The game, which is based on the X68000 version of the game, will be released on October 9 in that territory. Akumajo Dracula is the first in a series of Castlevania releases on the PlayStation. It includes the original game and a new arranged mode. GameSpot will have more on the US version as it becomes available.
