After some delays, Bungie on Friday announced plans for its Myth II tournament, called Seven Phoenix Rising.
According to Bungie, "The Heron Guard are rebuilding their ranks from the young and skilled warriors of the realm. In order to ensure that only the best warriors are selected to carry the honor of the Empire, they're holding a tournament. Those that show exceptional skill will be allowed to take their place in the Heron Guard alongside the heroes of the Second Great War."
Users of Bungie's online service at bungie.net can register beginning on Monday, March 1, at 9:00pm CST. The first 810 valid applicants will then be accepted, and contestants will be announced that Friday. Round One will begin on Saturday, March 13.
Full details are posted at the link to the right. Prizes include an autographed Myth II print for the finalists and a Myrkridia sculpture for the grand champion.
