CDV Software has today announced that the release of its Breed playable demo has been delayed until the middle of April. The demo was originally scheduled for release this month but has been delayed because of problems with the localization of the demo--which will be released in both English and German--and a few minor technical problems. An exact release date for the demo is expected to be announced soon, and anyone desperate to be among the first to play it can visit the official Breed Web site and sign up for the Breed newsletter.
Breed is a futuristic first-person shooter in which players assume command of the entire crew and vehicle complement of the battle cruiser the USC Darwin, which, since aliens invaded Earth, is actually all that remains of the human race.
