World-famous funnyman Bill Cosby will be in Minneapolis-St. Paul the first week in October to help promote a new ratings system for television, movie, video game, and Internet content.
The ratings system, called KidScore, was developed by the National Institute on Media and the Family, and is intended as an all-in-one ratings system for a wide variety of media outlets. KidScore rates content in terms of "violence; fear; harmful or illegal behaviors such as glamorized tobacco, alcohol, and drug use; nudity; sex; language; and age-appropriateness." The ratings will appear in a new magazine called Cornerstones.
Cosby will perform October 7 at the Minneapolis Convention Center as part of a program announcing the new ratings scheme.
