Some 25 years after its television inspiration blasted off, the game Battlestar Galactica has set a course to the factory. The game is due to touch down in stores November 18.
Available for Xbox and PlayStation 2, the sci-fi adventure-tile game is set four decades before the events of the series, which only ran for one year (!978-1979) despite top ratings. The game follows William Adama, portrayed as a venerable captain by Lorne Greene in the series, during his early career as a starfighter pilot. Battlestar Galactica's gameplay will focus on futuristic fighter simulation involving several of the series' snub-nosed craft. For more on the game, check out GameSpot's preview.
Designed by British studio Warthog (Mace Griffin) and published by VU Games, Battlestar Galactica has been rated "T" for teen and is priced at $49.99.
