Battlefield 1 Monthly Updates To Stop This June
Battlefield 1 Monthly Updates To Stop This June-April 2024
Apr 20, 2025 1:36 AM

Battlefield 1, the latest entry in the series developed by DICE now out on PC and consoles, has been constantly updated with new content and features since its release, but it seems like this is going to end soon.

In a post on the game's Official Website, the developer has confirmed that monthly updates will continue until June 2018. Until then, new content, fixes, and tweaks will continue to be released.

The Future of Our Monthly Game Updates

We’re continuing monthly updates for Battlefield 1 until June 2018, in which you can expect fresh content together with various tweaks and fixes for the player experience. As you may have seen on the Updates Page, these updates can cover anything: matchmaking, weapon balancing, even Dreadnought horns that sometimes won’t stop blaring.

As DICE is likely working on the next entry in the series, the end of the Battlefield 1 updates was to be expected.

As part of this month's update, DICE has made Rupture available for all owners of Battlefield 1.

We’re glad to announce that we’re making more maps from Battlefield 1They Shall Not Pass available for all owners of Battlefield 1. Today, you can tackle Rupture – a map taking place during the Second Battle of the Marne, characterized by its poppies growing over rusty wrecks. Coming in May, you’ll get to play on more maps with the hardened veterans of the French army making in a stand in a brutal defense of their homeland.

Battlefield 1 is now out on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
