Eurogamer’s Digital Foundry performed a Battlefield 1 campaign frame-rate analysis on the PS4 and Xbox One version of the game.
Last week, Digital Foundry put the PS4 and XO version of Hangar 13’s Mafia 3 on their test bench. Both versions suffered from apparent bugs and glitches but in general, the game was on par on both consoles with Sony’s PS4 having the edge visually and Microsoft’s Xbox One outperforming the PS4 during high engine loads.
The same is the case for DICE’s Battlefield 1 – the PS4 version has a clearer image overall, but with a lot happening on screen, the Xbox One version performs somewhat better. Both versions show frame-rate drops to 50FPS , but the frame-rate is more consistent on Xbox One.
