'Bad,' 'Billie Jean,' more tuning into Michael Jackson Experience
'Bad,' 'Billie Jean,' more tuning into Michael Jackson Experience-April 2024
Apr 20, 2025 5:12 AM

Ubisoft may be best known for its Tom Clancy line of wargames or acrobatic action adventures like Prince of Persia and Assassin's Creed, but that didn't stop the French publisher from closing out its 2010 Electronic Entertainment Expo press conference with a choreographed dance routine. Granted, the number wasn't just for theatrical effect, as Ubisoft used it to announce its latest new rhythm game property, Michael Jackson the Experience.

Beyond its initial reveal, Ubisoft has been parsimoniously dishing out details on what gamers can expect from Michael Jackson the Experience, announcing today a few songs that players can dance and sing to. Listed below is the incomplete setlist for the game:

Michael Jackson the Experience will be "Bad"! "Bad"

  "Beat It"

  "Billie Jean"

  "Earth Song"

  "The Girl Is Mine"

  "Who Is It"

  "Workin' Day And Night"

Due out this holiday season, Michael Jackson the Experience will be available for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PSP, Wii, and DS. The Xbox 360 version is in development at Ubisoft Montreal, where the team is integrating Kinect to have a player's dance routine projected into the game. Motion-sensing controls will also be available in the Wii and PS3 versions of the game.

Ubisoft plans to offer its first look at the game as part of this year's Gamescom, which is currently in progress. Check back later for GameSpot's first impressions of the dance title.
