Atari bites the Bullet Witch-April 2024
Apr 21, 2025 11:57 PM

Japanese gamers may not have taken to the Xbox 360 like their counterparts in Europe and North America, but some Japanese developers have. Several games designed for the Japanese market are finding publishers abroad willing to distribute the games in other regions.

Add another to the list, as Atari has signed an agreement with AQ Interactive to publish Bullet Witch outside of Japan. The deal is the first in a long-term agreement between the two companies.

"We are very pleased to announce this partnership with AQ Interactive Inc. and look forward to working with them on Bullet Witch and beyond," said Nique Fajors, Atari's sales and marketing vice president.

Bullet Witch hasn't exactly shot out of development. The postapocalyptic adventure game, which combines gunplay with spellcasting, was finally released in Japan in late July after multiple delays. Atari and AQ Interactive did not release an updated ship date in today's announcement.

Bullet Witch has not yet been rated or priced. For more information, check out GameSpot's previous coverage.
