When Howard Marks established the new Acclaim, he did so with the intent of delivering free-to-play massively multiplayer online role-playing games that would be supported by micropayments and in-game advertising. The pieces are falling into place, as last November the company began selling in-game items for its first PC title, BOTS, and today in-game ad firm IGA Worldwide announced that it has reached an exclusive agreement with Acclaim to provide ads for BOTS and five more titles. The agreement also covers upcoming Acclaim PC titles 9Dragons, 2Moons, Dance! Online, as well as two unannounced games. IGA Worldwide also has agreements to provide in-game ads for some games from Electronic Arts, Atari, and Codemasters.
