Convenience store chain 7-Eleven has announced a promotion that will give away dozens of Xbox One consoles throughout the holiday season.

　　The promotion began on November 6 and runs through January 2, with 7-Eleven giving away a console per day, for a total of 50.

　　Shoppers can purchase a specially marked Slurpee drink and enter codes at SlurepeeRewards.com to see if they've won. Users can enter up to five codes per day.

　　What's more, shoppers can bank their points through the rewards website for a chance to win hundreds of "Instant Win" prizes like copies of The Maw and Fable Heroes, as well as Microsoft Point cards and Xbox Live memberships.

　　The Xbox One launches to the public on November 22 for $500. Microsoft confirmed today that the system will not do much out of the box until a day-one patch is downloaded and installed.
