60GB Xbox 360 lands in Australia
60GB Xbox 360 lands in Australia-April 2024
Apr 20, 2025 12:32 PM

Microsoft Australia has today announced that the upgraded Xbox 360 Pro console--which comes with a larger 60GB hard drive--will be available for purchase down under from today for A$499.

The new 60GB console replaces the 20GB model, and is being sold at the same price. While this is certainly good news for those looking to buy the midrange Xbox 360 model, there's no word on hardware revisions for the Xbox 360 Arcade (A$349), which packs a Xbox 360, 256MB memory card, and five XBLA titles, or the Xbox 360 Elite (A$649) SKUs, which comes with a console, 120GB HDD, headset, and HDMI cable.

Microsoft isn't the only one increasing the storage capacity on its consoles. On Friday, Sony announced that from August 28, the revised 80GB PS3 pack would be available in Australia for A$699. The new pack will also add in the DualShock 3.
