Plenty of improvements are coming to the Steam client in the future, according to what Valve has recently revealed.

During a recent developers event in Barcelona, as reported by Twitter user Toni Dominguez, Valve has confirmed that they working on several improvements for the Steam client. Specifically, they mentioned a new interface for Big Picture Mode, a new Calendar system which will also introduce scheduled updates, livestreams and special XP weekends for specific titles, and a better implementation for Steam Reviews.

Yes, indeed. According to them, they're working on a calendar for games (to introduce scheduled updates, livestreams or special XP weekends, for a specific title), a new interface for Big Picture Mode and a better implementation for Steam Reviews.

On a related note, Valve also confirmed that they are still working on games, but no one during the event mentioned the now legendary Half-Life 3.

When the Valve presentation started, one of the first sentences was "We're also still making games". People laughed a little bit. I can't believe the meme's gone this far. Apart from that, no Half Life 3 questions/jokes.
