STB Systems has launched its new Velocity 4400 graphics card powered by the nVidia RIVA TNT processor.
The Velocity 4400 is the follow-up 2D/3D card to the company's first RIVA 128-based card, the Velocity 128. Gamers looking for numbers on what the card can do won't be disappointed with a 32-bit true color TwiN Texel multi-texturing architecture with a top resolution of 1600x1200 and high framerates through a 16MB frame buffer.
The board features high performance 128-bit 2D graphics for speedy web browser and other application graphics alongside high-quality video playback. Gaming features for the board include support for DirectX and OpenGL.
No information has yet been released about applications or pricing for the new graphics board.
