With just about a month to go before its release, Microsoft announced today that the music for Rise of the Tomb Raider was composed by Game of Thrones, Iron Man, and Despicable Me's Bobby Tahouri.

　　Tahouri"It's been an honor working on such a storied franchise,," Tahouri said. "Lara is someone who embodies an indomitable spirit, and crafting music to accompany her on her journey has been a fantastic experience."

　　In addition, Crystal Dynamics confirmed that Rise of the Tomb Raider will support "procedurally generated music" during stealth encounters. This is made possible through a "middleware system" licensed by Intelligent Music Systems. "This system analyzes Tahouri's compositions and dynamically composes new music, making every play-through unique," the developer explained. That sounds pretty cool.

　　You can listen to a preview of Tahouri's Rise of the Tomb Raider soundtrack below. The game launches on November 10 for Xbox One and Xbox 360, and presumably you will also be able to buy the soundtrack.

　　In other recent Rise of the Tomb Raider news, Crystal Dynamics has revealed how the game's microtransactions will work and announced some extra game modes. The PC and PlayStation 4 versions of the game will launch in 2016.
