New Remnant 2 gameplay footage was shared online, providing a new look at one of the game's locations and multiple Archetypes, such as the Gunslinger and Challenger.

　　The new footage, which is pre-alpha gameplay and so not entirely representative of the experience when the game will launch later this Summer, is set in Yaesha, one of the many environments players will explore in the game. Also showcased in the video are three different Archetypes - the Gunslinger, the Handler, and the Challenger.

　　Of these three Remnant 2 Archetypes, the Handler was showcased earlier this month with a dedicated trailer which revealed mechanics like the three modes for the pettable dog, the Prime Perk, which allows the Archetype to revive themselves as well as other teammates, its trait which reduced friendly fire and more.

　　Among the many improvements Remnant 2 will feature over its predecessor is an expanded Archetype system, allowing for much more diverse playstyles. The new entry in the series by Gunfire Games will also feature an improved degree of randomization, bringing procedural generation to the next level.

　　Remnant 2 launches on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S sometime this Summer. A precise release date has yet to be confirmed.
