Still on track for an October 6 launch for Nintendo Switch, a new trailer for Detective Pikachu Returns showed the gruff-voiced gumshoe solving mysteries, questioning Pokemon, and getting plenty of help from his allies in Rime City. Also, Detective Pikachu really likes a hot mug of coffee.
There's still no concrete release date yet for the next Pokemon animated series, which doesn't star Ash Ketchum, but The Pokemon Company did say that it'll arrive "soon" after it showed off a new sizzle reel of footage.
Completing the hat trick of Pokemon animated projects is Pokemon: Paldea Winds. This new series of animated shorts is set in the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet region, and stars a young girl aiming to attend a Pokemon trainer school. This will be a four-episode web-series on the Pokemon YouTube channel, animated by Wit Studio.

You can grab Mew right now in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, while Mewtwo will arrive later in September. You'll need to prepare for Mewtwo's arrival, as The Pokemon Company teased a tough Tera Raid battle that will see your team pushed to the limit when facing this powerful Psychic-type clone of Mew. If you happen to have Mew in your party during this Tera Raid, something "special" will happen according to The Pokemon Company.
