Razer is practically a household name when it comes to PC gaming peripherals, with their prolific appearance in the tournament scene and RGB-illuminated Chroma accessories. Today, Razer has announced the launch of the all-new Razer Game Store, a platform that offers gamers discounts across "thousands of digital games and rewards customers with every purchase".
The Razer Game Store will offer both Steam and uPlay product keys with its launch today, incentivizing players with more than just discounted software. Members of Razer's zVault will earn zSilver loyalty rewards credits with any purchase, with an extra bonus for cashing in zGold. No matter the payment method, when gamers purchase games from the Razer Game Store, they’ll gain access to exclusive offers, Razer Game Store vouchers, discounted Razer peripherals or other perks.
Going live today, the Razer Game Store will have a fully localized launch within four territories: United States, United Kingdom, Germany and France, each with localized content, prices, payment methods, and customer support. Across other European countries, the Razer Game Store will support an English version of the marketplace with prices based on the Euro currency. Other countries are supported through a global storefront with prices based on US dollars.
Supporting the catalog of Razer Game Store’s Steam and uPlay titles are a wide range of publishers, including the likes of Ubisoft, Bandai Namco, Deep Silver, Bethesda, and many more. Upcoming titles such as “Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire” and Ubisoft’s “The Crew 2” will see their launchers later this year on the Razer Game Store. Ubisoft will be fully supporting the launch of the Razer Game Store alongside Bethesda with launch promotions of up to 75% across their lineup of titles.
In keeping up with the trends of PC gaming for a great price, the Game Store will offer a new selection of exclusives and rewards on a rotating selection of four games each week. The inaugural selection of titles available includes “Far Cry 5”, “Assassin’s Creed: Origins”, “Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus”, and “Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom”. Not only are these titles discounted by up to 50%, but their purchase also includes a Razer Game Store voucher up to $15, double the zSilver rewards, and a $10 voucher towards a future Razer peripheral purchase on the RazerStore.
To celebrate the launch of the Game Store, Razer is giving away 10,000 Steam keys for Furi on a first-come, first-served basis. Signups are available through Razer’s promotional page.
