Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, the second main entry in the series developed by Insomniac launching later this month on PlayStation 5, reportedly won't require a massive amount of playtime to unlock the Platinum Trophy and see everything it offers.
According to an online report shared on the series' subreddit, the new entry in the series will require around 30 hours to unlock the Platinum Trophy, which is great news for both Trophy hunters and those who don't particularly appreciate games that require hundreds of hours to complete.
The fact that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 won't require too many hours to unlock the Platinum Trophy doesn't exactly come as a surprise, as we already knew the game was about as long as its predecessor. This doesn't mean, however, that the new entry in the series will be lacking surprises, as it will have bigger setpieces and boss battles that will help set it apart from its predecessor, outside the obvious technical improvements that come from the game having been developed from the ground up for PlayStation 5.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 launches on October 20th worldwide on PlayStation 5. A PC version has yet to be announced, but it is likely to be coming sometime in the future, considering both the original and Miles Morales were eventually released on Steam and other digital stores.
