[UPDATE] If you're just looking for a Mario Kart 8 Wii U bundle without the extras, Nintendo is listing that bundle for £249.99 ($420) at its UK website.

　　Nintendo today officially announced that its rumored special-edition Mario Kart 8 Wii U bundles will launch in the United Kingdom when the game is available May 30.

　　The special bundles will sell for £299.99 ($500) and come in Red Mario and Green Luigi varieties, both of which you can see in the image above. Both bundles include a 32GB system, a racing wheel, GamePad protector, Mario or Luigi hat, Wii Remote Plus, and a Mario Kart 8 game guide.

　　Nintendo has not announced if these bundles will come to North America. We have reached out to a Nintendo of America representative for comment.

　　Mario Kart 8 launches worldwide on May 30 exclusively for Wii U. The game includes 32 total courses--half are brand new and the other half are remakes of previous courses. Mario Kart 8 also includes two Rainbow Road courses. For more, check out GameSpot's previous coverage of Mario Kart 8.
