Along with dates and group stage information for the 2014 World Championships, Riot Games also announced the 2014 Worlds rulebook which revealed the total prize pool and distribution for this year's tournament. Assuming there are no group stage ties for third and fourth, this year's prize pool is slightly higher than last year's $2,050,000 at $2,130,000.
Distribution is as follows:

Riot has additionally added rule 1.1 "Player Age" which requires that all players be at least 17 years old in order to participate in worlds.
