Nintendo DS launch title, Feel the Magic: XY/XX, is on store shelves. Developed by Sega's own Sonic Team, the title chronicles the misadventures of a young man who tries to win the heart of a girl through a collection of minigames. The game, whose Japanese title roughly translates to "I would die for you," will find its own soul mate, the actual DS hardware, this weekend when the handheld unit is officially put on sale.
The in-game courtship is anything but typical--the protagonist must brush scorpions off the back of his object of affection, deter rampaging bulls from her path, and blow sailboats in her direction with the help of the Rub Rabbits, a group of performers who don rabbit ears.
The controls are just as unique as the love story: gamers will not only use conventional buttons and the DS' touch-screen capabilities, but also shout and blow into the handheld on their way to love.
Feel the Magic: XY/XX is rated "T" for Teen and retails for the SRP of $29.95.
