It's Disney Investor Day and top Disney brass are offering updates on the company's various strategies and brands for the upcoming year--and while that certainly makes for a lot of very dry financial discussion and corporate buzzwords, it's also provided some news about some highly anticipated projects.
New animated movie Raya and the Last Dragon will be getting a similar treatment to the one that Mulan received back in September, with a small twist. Disney seems to be taking a page out of Warner Bros book with plans to release a selection of their high profile films simultaneously in theaters and on Disney+ to be streamed. However, unlike Warner Bros, who announced that every one of their 2021 releases would be simultaneously available on HBO Max for the price of your subscription, Disney+'s releases will be "Premier Access," and incur an added fee.

Disney executive Kareem Daniel explained: "In light of continued COVID related challenges in the marketplace and our commitment to providing consumers greater choice than ever before, we are pleased to announce that we will release Walt Disney Animation Studios' epic adventure story Raya and the Last Dragon through Disney+ Premier Access at the same time that we debuted the film in theaters in March."
For Mulan, this added fee was $30, on top of the Disney Plus price. The "Premier Access" phase of release lasted several months before Mulan was made available to everyone with a Disney+ subscription for no additional fee.
In addition to announcing the release date, Disney also tweeted a new poster for Raya and the Last Dragon. Take a look at it below.

It is unclear whether Raya and the Last Dragon will have the same $30 price tag for streaming access. It was also implied that Raya will be joined by other 2021 Disney releases, though titles have not been made available yet.
Raya and the Last Dragon will be streaming and in theaters where available on March 5, 2021.
