UK-based Digital Jesters today announced that its World War II strategy game D-Day has gone gold in the UK. The 3D game attempts to accurately depict the Allied invasion of Normandy and will put players in control of more than 60 units as they attempt to push the Axis forces back through Europe. Developed by French studio Monte Cristo, D-Day will be released for the PC on August 20 in the UK. A North American version is due later this year.
