Cyberpunk 2077 has launched with a flurry of strange technical issues and weird visual bugs, although there are ways to improve your experience right away. CD Projekt Red has made some odd visual settings the default option players start with--here's how to change them.
Chromatic aberration, film grain, and motion blur are all turned on when you start the game. The combination of the three give the game a strange tint that messes with many of the colors in Night City. Several players have made this change and have posted screenshots displaying the impact the settings change made on their time with the game.

Chromatic Aberration On vs Off. Credit: houska22 You can change these settings quickly by opening the settings menu and navigating to the "Graphics" tab where all three settings can be switched off. Making this change should make an immediate impact on how Cyberpunk 2077 looks. It won't, however, impact the games' many visual quirks.
Cyberpunk 2077 released to a mostly positive response from critics, although technical issues have hit the game hard. CD Projekt Red has promised that fixes for many of the game's issues are coming in today's day one patch.
"I was playing on a gaming laptop well above the minimum specs announced for Cyberpunk 2077, while another GameSpot player experienced the same severity and frequency of bugs (though no hard crashes) on an even higher-end desktop PC," said Kallie Plagge in GameSpot's Cyberpunk 2077 review. "Your mileage may vary, but in our experience, the bugs are obtrusive and substantial across the board, often forcing us to reload saves or exit the game entirely. It's hard to get really into a world you constantly have to leave."
