　　The story so far...

　　20XX, an alternative future. Scientists from Xtra-city, through close cooperation with an alien race called "the Mortem", have made serious advances in bio-engineering. Special body cyber-modifications were produced and started a major "biological revolution" in the city, many people began to replace their limbs and organs with new, more perfect ones, despite the lack of any major sicknesses or disfigurements. A crazy cult called "The New Flesh" started to gain popularity amongst the residents, promoting the idea of the "perfect man" to the masses, under the slogan "Going to the Future to the Rhythm of the Mechanical Heart!"

　　But it was all just a part of the Mortem's sinister plan to take over the world and create an army using human resources. One night, the aliens execute a special processes in the cyber-modifications, releasing a toxic substance into people's blood, turning them into inhuman bionic mutants. You are Klaus Adamopolis, a system administrator at a small company, who is awakened one morning by someone breaking down the door to his apartment. After escaping through a window and climbing over a fence, he finds himself in the middle of a bloody massacre...
