Is beauty truly only skin deep? "The Skin You're In" is a horror visual novel, created for the 2020 Spooktober VN Jam, about love, loss, and puppets.

　　"Once upon a time, not too long ago, in a city quite like your own, a circus came to town..." and that's when the trouble began. Coppelia, a human-sized puppet and the star of the traveling Circus Reverie, fell in love with a human woman. Every night, she saw her in the audience, and soon, she could think of no one else.

　　However, as much as Coppelia wanted to tell her Beloved how she felt,she knew it was impossible she would accept her feelings.

　　Because, after all…she was just a puppet.

　　‘Alas!’ She thought to herself, ‘If only life were like the stories we performed on stage! If I had a fairy godmother, I could ask her to make me into a real girl...
