The Blathering Keep is a teeny-tiny slice of a game: a *dungeon drawler* where the enemies don't attack you with traditional weapons, rather they assault you with corporate jargon! Avoid the blathering "speech bubbles," talk to chill statues, get keys, and make your way through the labyrinthine floors of the most terrifying tower of all!
This tiny game started life as a game jam prototype, but I was learning so much I decided to take it just a tiptoe further and now it's a bit more of a proof-of-concept for a (still quite small) upcoming dungeon crawler from yours truly.
How to play:
Use the arrow keys to move your intrepid protagonist around the scene. You'll automatically engage in conversation with friendly NPCs, get shouted at by speech bubbles if you touch them, and unlock doors if you have the proper keys.
Use the keyboard and mouse to make selections inside of the dialogue trees. Hit the continue button to advance the dialogue!
