Super Silverfish is a sequel to the original Shoot Em Up Destruction Set game, "Silverfish", written back in the mid 1990s by Psytronik Software. This game was designed and created by using the sideways scrolling Shoot Em Up Construction Kit. The game has also been imported into Martin Piper's SEUCK Redux scroller engine and features full on in game enhancements and atmospheric music.
How to play:
A giant offensive weapon has been built and is being tested in the desert. to make matters worse, a brand new war has broken out.
Your mission is to patrol your military helicopter, using a joystick in port 2. battle against the enemy forces you encounter. Collect power ups for progressive weapon upgrades. After you have picked up the 5th power up, a heavy armoured tank will be sent in and it will be pretty much invincible. All power ups, including the tank will be lost if you lose a life.
During battle, you will face a boss stage. Destroy the boss or survive for a long period of time before the boss is destroyed. Warning: enemies will aim for your position.
Can you locate and destroy the biggest threat to the world, or will the world face a catastrophic end to deadly smoke, which will engulf the world as we know it?
