Runewatch is a Single-Player Roguelite First-Person Shooter with Role-Playing Game elements for PC. The player controls an Elementalist who makes use of their magic abilities while exploring randomly generated dungeons, defeating enemies, and progressively becoming a master Elementalist through exploration, killing, death and repetition.

　　Context Runewatch takes place in a world where mankind learned how to manipulate the raw manifestations of magic and use it for their purposes. The ones who can do so, are known as elementalists.

　　Several schools of magic were created by more advanced elementalists to provide an efficient learning process for all the individuals interested in mastering the arcane arts.

　　The player controls one of these students, who frequents Mountcrest Watch Institute of Magic and is eager for power and knowledge. To acquire these, they must face the challenges created by their instructors in controlled, ever-changing dungeons.
