This is the story of Kate, a struggling talent agent in the big city. She's just been proposed to by her boyfriend when she meets someone new: Jack, a soulful guitarist with a lot of promise. But things quickly get out of hand as he starts falling for her! How will Kate deal with a new client, a new crush, and you filling in silly words? A <body part>-wrenching rom-com!
Made for the Brackeys Game Jam 2019. Did you know that I haven't successfully completed a single game jam yet? This one is no exception: I got about as far as Jack and Kate meeting for the first time. And in sticking with tradition, I got fairly middle-of-the-road scores in every category except for one (that being 'Fun', so that's at least good).
This is my first time releasing a game for Mac and Linux, so let me know if there's anything wrong with those versions.
And while I'm here, I'd like to apologize if anyone gets offended by Julio. He was supposed to by an ironic / subversive depiction of the "obligatory camp gay best friend of the female protagonist" you see in rom-coms, but ended up being played straight due to time constraints.
