Kitchen For One was a full-motion-video jazz improv cooking simulator about windows, mice, and everyday monotony.
Due to circumstances beyond our control, we are sad to say that the game is no longer online and cannot be played anymore.
Below, we have embedded a full playthrough of the game, courtesy of Sebastian Standke from game curator. The entire narrative is shown here, as well as the experience that could be expected from the gameplay. You can also find his article about the project here.
Videos were sourced from Scaling Egocentric Vision: The EPIC-KITCHENS Dataset, published under Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommerial 4.0 International License. Changes by us included processing of the videos (codec, sobel filter).
The jazz was generated with Musenet.
We also used a clip from Michael Snow's 2002 film Solar Breath.
