Disclaimer: CLV is already finished, but this demo is still in development. More stories to come!
Introduction
You like Eeveelutions? Here you'll find the daily going-ons of Vaporeon's team in the NWI guild. Watch as Glaceon gets stuck in a freezer, Flareon proposes to his true love, and Sylveon commits crimes.
Also, this is a tech demo for the CLV (Character Line View) module. CLV is an extension of YarnSpinner that not only simplifies game dialogue, but also allows for complex rpg-style text animations, customization for each character, and easily interspersing cutscenes. If what you see in this game interests you, then you're in luck. CLV is completely FREE! Just download from below, slap the folder into your Unity project, and you're good to go. Check out the "Introduction" story above, and the linked documentation for more info.
Character Line View Features
In-text attributes allow for rpg-style animations while displaying dialogue lines such as pausing, changing the cps, changing the speed of the voice, and more. Rich text tags are also supported. Displays are customizable per character. Each character has their own set of emotions/icons, a background, and voice. The “animate” command simplifies the process of interspersing cutscenes with dialogue, by allowing timeline assets to be directly called from the dialogue scripts.More info available in the documentation linked below. Controls
Press the space-bar or the enter key to advance dialogue.
