What's this game?

　　We made this game in 50 hours for the GMTK 2022 game jam where the theme was "Roll The Dice", but we completely forgot to submit it as an entry for the Jam. It's a real bummer, but we're super proud of this game.

　　We would love you to try it and tell us what you think of it in our comment section!

　　All the assets (art, anim, sound, code) were done during the Jam by our team.

　　How to Play?

　　Move Yourself

　　Move your die with the beat of the music to reach the end of each level.

　　Kill / Avoid Enemies

　　Enemy dice will be on your way. You can kill or avoid enemy dice in order to get to the goal. To kill an enemy, first place yourself next to the enemy. Then, you attack it by moving onto the enemy's position.

　　Your attack damage is equal to the number of swords on the top face of your die minus the number of shields on the enemy die. When you deal enough damage to an enemy's health, the enemy will disappear.

　　Defend Yourself

　　Be careful though as enemies attack, off-beat, using the exact same rules. Your health, displayed at the top left, can quickly disappear if you aren't careful.

　　Unlock Doors

　　Enemies that are connected to doors must be killed in order to open the door.

　　Note: Doors are also used in the tutorial for completing objectives in order to progress.

　　Create Combos to Heal

　　Moving (and/or attacking) exactly on the beat gets you a "perfect move." Chain these perfect moves to create a combo that can heal you!
